Winch Design is proud to be presenting three newly delivered, unique and industry defining yachts at this year's Monaco Yacht Show, in collaboration with three different yards. The team at Winch has been working closely with the clients to bring each fully-bespoke dream yacht to life, and Winch is privileged to be able to showcase the creativity of the teams in all its diversity, and the artistry on board.
It’s also wonderful to see Winch Design yachts from previous years at the show, the contemporary and beachy Phoenix 2 and the incredible Phoenix 2 with her striking phoenix figurehead.
And finally, forever seeking to venture into waters new, Winch Design has collaborated for the first time with a carefully selected group of partners, to bring to life three unique ranges. Each collaboration is imbued with style, spirit and quality, and celebrates the details found in nature. Launching this September are collections with The Rug Company, Summit Furniture and Turnstyle Designs. Winch has also created a one-off imaginative installation with Tai Ping and the Winch range with Foglizzo leathers will be on display on their stand.
Exclusively presented by Abeking & Rasmussen at this year's show, the iconic 80m M/Y Excellence (Quai Rainier R04) is set to be a stand out superyacht at this year's show. With her industry disrupting layout, striking and angular American Eagle bow and curved floor-to-ceiling mirrored glass, Excellence has a super structure so unique that she is unlike anything seen before.
Built at Lürssen and brokered by Moran Yacht & Ship, the 111m M/Y Tis (Quai Rainier R03) can only be described as a New Classic. With her unequivocally elegant exterior, her precise proportions and sweeping curves render her timelessly grand and graceful.
Robert Moran is acting as Owner's Rep and Technical Consultant.
Fresh from the Amels 220 range, 67m M/Y Aurora Borealis (Quai Chicane C23) is spacious and light, taking inspiration for her bespoke interior from the skies above and the beautiful natural world surrounding us. With the designers at Winch opting for soft, organic textures to complement her flowing interior spaces, Aurora Borealis offers a dreamlike journey across the oceans.
Aurora Borealis is for sale with Fraser and is represented by Antoine Larricq who also acted as the Owner's Rep and Technical Consultant.
HERE COMES THE SUN
Returning to the show, the contemporary 83m M/Y Here Comes The Sun (Quai Chicane C22), which was delivered in 2017 by Amels. Her calm and beachy interior features light materials and soft colours such as warm browns, creams, gold-toned lighting and bronze panels to create a decorative scheme which is soothing and contemporary.
Here Comes The Sun is for sale with Fraser Yacht and is being represented by Dennis Frederiksen.
And last but not least, 90m M/Y Phoenix 2 (Quai Rainer Ier R02) which was delivered in 2010 by Lürssen, and has enjoyed a decade of successful charter. Her striking phoenix figurehead is still drawing attention, 9 years after her delivery.
Phoenix 2 is for sale with Eastwind Yachts.
For the first time, Winch Design has collaborated with a specially selected group of internationally recognised designers and artisans and is delighted to be presenting these unique collaborations at Monaco Yacht Show this year.
Each collection is imbued with style, spirit and quality, and celebrates the details found in nature.
Launching this September are collections with The Rug Company, Summit Furniture and Turnstyle Designs. Winch is also displaying their collection of beautifully embossed and laser cut leathers in collaboration with Foglizzo, as well as the one-of-a-kind collaboration with Thomas Mercer, the Shell Chronometer.
